Welcome to 2024 ACT Election
A BETTER CANBERA: LOCAL BUSINESS LOCAL JOBS

My name is Fuxin Li, I have lived in Canberra for 23 years, spending 21 of those years in the electorate of Yerrabi. I love this city, which is often regarded as one of the most livable in the world.
I am running in the ACT election as an Independent Candidate for Yerrabi, aiming for a seat in the ACT Legislative Assembly. I believe we need greater diversity in the ACT Parliament to better reflect our community.
As a father, I deeply care about the future of my two sons and the safety of our community. As an educator, I recognise the critical role of education, employment and family in building a prosperous society. I am passionate about ensuring high-quality education for our younger generation and advocating for more grants to support community language learning. Yerrabi is one of Canberra’s most multicultural districts, home to around ten different community language schools, highlighting the rich cultural tapestry of our electorate.
As a community leader and independent candidate, I am committed to supporting small businesses, protecting our elders, empowering women, reducing the cost of living, and safeguarding our environment and heritage. I envision an internationalized Canberra with direct flights connecting us to key global cities, including Mainland China, New Delhi India and beyond.
As your representative for Yerrabi and all of Canberra, I will hold the government accountable to ensure it delivers first-class services, including education, public health, road improvements, environmental protection and community services across the ACT.
I would be delighted to meet with you to discuss how we can work together to create a better Canberra.
